Savvalas Exhibitions 3rd Secondary School– 21522
This specific book aims to help the student meet the requirements of the speech production exercises included in the Modern Greek Language 3rd Secondary School textbook.
Following the content of the textbook and the development topics it suggests, we thought it good to include the following in the specific aid:
• Information on concepts and phenomena that the textbook examines, with the aim of informing the student more fully about them.
• Vocabulary tables where the interpretations, synonyms, antonyms and homonyms of words related to the topic of each unit are given and which are accompanied by relevant exercises.
• Developed topics and paragraphs in which the student can follow the way the thought is organized and get ideas in order to construct his own text.
• Texts with exercises for the student to come into contact with different types of written speech, from which he can also obtain information related to speech production issues.
• Evaluation criteria, which provide the student with opportunities for self-activity.
• Theory about the paragraph, descriptive and narrative speech, argumentative texts, but also how to organize the summary.
Finally, following the tactics of the Modern Greek language school textbook, which wants to familiarize the student with different types of written language (e.g. letter, article, etc.), many of the texts we develop are written in an analogous format.
This book will strengthen the student's effort to learn to handle the written word and will give him some directions and stimuli to produce his own texts in a critical but also creative way.
