Animalia Del Amo
Animalia, the saga of a peasant family in south-west France. Throughout the 20th century, their occupation is pig farming. In this environment dominated by the presence of animals, five generations live the cataclysmic events of two world wars, economic disasters and the violence of economic exploitation. Only the magical realm of childhood – that of Eleanor and Jerome, the last of the offspring – and the innate freedom of animals create a bulwark against humanity's brutality.
