Greg Heffley and sports just don't mix.
His mom, however, pushes him to try out and sign up for a basketball team.
In the tryouts, Greg does poorly and is sure that he will not be selected, but, completely unexpectedly, he ends up getting a place on the worst team.
As Greg and his new teammates begin the season, the chances of them winning even one game are slim.
